Our History
GAGAUZIA, MOLDOVA(Turkish-speaking Moldovans)
- Planted 3 new churches through the ministry of American teams.
- Established a Gagauz Leadership Development Institute for Church Planters in October 2000. Currently 14 church plants in process lead by LDI students.
- Mobilized 29 teams of two short-term Gagauz missionaries for work in Turkey since January 2000.
- Empowered pastors, their families and churches through Business As Missions (BAM) in partnership with the Gagauz Tabitha Farm Project in 2001.
- Provided financial aid for Tabitha Farm Project to relieve the devastations of severe drought conditions in 2007.
- Enabled Gagauz Tabitha Farm Project to dig a well in 2009.
MOLDOVA, CENTRAL
- Planted 7 new churches through the ministry of American teams, 1996-2005.
- Medical workers provided free clinics in the summers of 2004-2009.
- Planted 8 new churches through the ministry of the central Moldova Leadership Development Institute (LDI) interns, 1999-2000.
- Ten LDI Interns graduated, May 2000.
- Ten LDI Interns graduated, May 2007.
- Enlisted Moldovan director of LDI in Moldova and Russia.
- Established southern Moldova LDI, with 13 interns, October 2000.
- Enlisted southern Moldova LDI coordinator.
RUSSIA(Mordovia)
- Planted 3 new churches through the ministry of American teams.
- Established the Russian LDI in Saransk, the capitol.
- Aided Russian pastor’s ministry to poor families in Saransk, Russia in 2007.
- Raised money to treat two year old son of LDI student, in Saransk, Russia, who suffered from leukemia in 2007.
- Conducted first English youth camps in Saransk in partnership with the local church from 2004 – 2009.
- Mobilized 3 American missionaries to conduct university student evangelism from 2008-2009.
RUSSIA (Kabardino, Balkaria)
- Mobilized Turk World missionary family 2008-present.
- Supported Bible translation ministry in 2009-present.
UKRAINE (Crimea)
- Mobilized two Turk World missionary families 2007-present.
- Supported Children’s camps for low-income children in Muslim communities 2009-present.
- Supported Mobile library efforts 2008-present.
TURKEY
- Utilized eight 2-person Gagauz teams to assist the Turkish Church in evangelism and discipleship.
- Mobilized two American teams to conduct university student evangelism in Istanbul in 1999.
